An attractive and large scale pair of French late 19th century Sèvres style hand painted porcelain vases with an attractive gilt decoration. The pair has a stunning "pagode' shape and a very elegant green painted background decorated by exquisite gilted floral garlands throughout. At the front is a finely detailed central reserve with a floral bouquet as well as at the neck and the removable lid. The back depicts a courting scene.
