An exquisite true pair of French 19th Century Louis XV st. Belle Époque period ormolu and patinated bronze candelabra lamps, attributed to François Linke. Each lamp is raised by fine scrolled foliate supports below impressive wrap around egg and dart bands. At the center are wonderfully executed and most charming patinated bronze cherubs. Each are seated on stunning scrolled foliate movements in a rich satin and burnished finish and hold a finely detailed bird in their hands. Above lovely grape cluster finials are the superb elegantly scrolled arms, each adorned with richly chased acanthus leaves and intricate attention to detail leading to floral bobeches and spiral reeded candle cups. — Read Less
