A handsome Italian 18th century solid Walnut gateleg table from Tuscany. The table is raised by elegant carved scalloped shaped trestle supports with one side housing a drawer with a charming turned mottled pull. Each support is connected by a straight stretcher secured by pegs at each side. The top of the table folds up from each side to reveal scalloped shaped supports that fold out to secure the top in place to showcase the beautiful wood grain. All original hardware, and rich warm patina throughout.
