A magnificent Italian 19th century round ormolu mounted ebonized fruitwood and crouch mahogany center table with cherry wood inlay. The table is raised by four ball feet below the concave stretcher with a cherry wood inlaid radial design of the seed of life geometric pattern. The ebonized fruitwood straight column supports each have an ormolu square plinth and richly chased ormolu top capitals. The circular top has a geometric marquetry star surrounded by a foliate pattern and two circular filets borders repeated at the outer edge. Warm rich grain and patina of the crouch mahogany throughout. Wonderful proportions with all original gilt. — Read Less
