A most handsome Portuguese 19th century rosewood and brass coffee table. The table is raised by wonderful turned topie shaped legs with fine brass casters. At the straight frieze are three drawers each decorated with beautiful pierced foliate brass keyhole escutcheons and pulls. The back is similarly decorated with three decorative faux drawers and one on each side. The top displays a warm wood grain, framed within an impressive twisted border.
