A very decorative and large scale Italian 19th century gilt and painted pressed metal lantern. The hexagon shaped glass cage is adorned with painted and gilt metal flowers and bows throughout. Inside are three metal scrolled arms that are suspended on a painted hook. A pressed metal raffia style Kings top crown is joined to the base by painted metal leaves accented by flowers.
