A beautiful and extremely decorative Italian early 19th century giltwood, crystal, and frosted glass chandelier. The eight light chandelier is centered by a fine cut bottom crystal ball and tapered giltwood finial with a lovely foliate design below wonderful crystal pendants and striking reeded foliate baluster shaped reserves. The elegantly scrolled arms branch out and each connected by most decorative swaging crystal garlands and delicate frosted glass pendants at the floral candle cups. The giltwood central fut also displays a fine baluster shape with fluted designs and striking sprays at the center and top each displaying beautiful rosettes and additional swaging crystal garlands.
